Dr. Manmohan Singh is a Manager in MSC’s Digital Financial Services domain focused on Government and Social Impact domain. He is a public health professional with over seven years of experience gained through strategically managing and implementing public health interventions at the district level, regional level and at state level in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, India. His area of expertise includes project management, programme design, implementation and field research.

A few examples of his recent work are as follows:

• Project support unit (PSU) of NITI Aayog – GOI at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh for creation of model block Sevapuri funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation in India: Working closely with the UP government to focus on improving the maternal and child health of Sevapuri block through strengthening service provision at the facility and outreach sites via gap analysis, action planning, hand hold support for implementation and regular monitoring the activities and outputs. The focus is also on strengthening health and wellness centers to cater to the population affected by non-communicable diseases and the regular maternal and child health services. (2021)

Before joining MSC, Dr. Manmohan Singh was the state Specialist quality at the India Health action trust where he was responsible for roll out of LaQshya program i.e. strengthening Labour room and OT in the designated district women hospitals in the State of Uttar Pradesh. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from Indira Gandhi Government Dental college, Jammu, University of Jammu, J&K with specialisation in Public health from the IIPH Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He is fluent in Hindi and English.
