Karthick Morchan is a Manager in the Data and Innovations domain of MSC. He is a data analytics enthusiast striving to drive evidence-based decision making in the development sector. He has over eight years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, advanced analytics, impact evaluation, and program management.

Prior to joining MSC, Karthick was a Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at CARE India Solutions for Sustainable Development. His focus was to understand the impacts of the ongoing health projects/interventions which are being implemented to build capacities within the state functionaries of Bihar, India. He led a lot of research projects, evaluations in the areas of maternal and child health, nutrition and kala-azar. He has co-authored and published many scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals and enriched the global knowledge on public health in low-income settings. He is adept in data analytics and visualizations tools like R, SAS, SPSS, QGIS, and Tableau. Karthick also conceptualized and led large scale research programs in the areas of financial inclusion, digital financial services and enterprise development. He has worked with research teams in India, Indonesia, China, Angola, and Kenya.
