MSC understands rural populations. Our agricultural experts build agricultural finance strategies for financial institutions and assist our partners to develop the capacity to implement them. MSC designs and develops agricultural products built on risk management approaches designed specifically for agricultural lending.

MSC enhances access to markets through improving forward and backward linkages. We digitize the value chain and apply our knowledge of agent banking and working with rural communities to enhance their uptake of digital finance. We focus on various areas, such as productivity enhancement, research and policy advocacy, training and capacity-building of stakeholders, livelihood improvement, sustainable agriculture, and agri insurance. We also partner with agricultural projects to leverage our respective advantages in linkages with farmers and financial institutions.

We have been currently deepening our work in emerging areas, such as data analytics for agriculture, digital marketplaces, and smart or precision agriculture through digital technologies and the Internet of Things.
