Surbhi Sood is a Senior Manager in MSC’s Digital Inclusive Development domain in India. She is a financial inclusion consultant with more than eleven years of experience gained through projects with international organizations, social enterprises, NGOs, and community-based institutions in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Kenya, Uganda, and India. Her areas of expertise include digital payments, agent network management, product development, behavioral research, financial capability development, gender, and project management. In addition, she is passionate about innovation in technology for development purposes and creative methodologies for learning.
Before joining MSC, Surbhi was a Project Manager (Business Excellence) at DharmaLife, where she undertook various roles, such as streamlining processes and managing the IT infrastructure and on-field implementation of mobile technology solutions. Earlier, she also worked as a Senior System Engineer with Infosys Technologies, where her work included accommodating client project requirements, conceptualizing and designing high-level and detailed-level design documents, and evaluating project specifications for live implementation until project delivery. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma specializing in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand in Gujarat, India, and a degree in Bachelor of Technology from Mody Institute of Technology and Science in Rajasthan, India. She is fluent in English and Hindi.
