Abhishek Jain is a Manager in MSC’s Digital Financial Services domain focused on Government and Social Impact (GSI) in India. He is an International Development graduate with more than six years of work experience, including a year’s worth of experience assisting members of parliament (MPs) on legislative research work in India. In addition, he has worked as a researcher with organizations, such as the University of Bath, the Centre for Civil Society, and the National Human Rights Commission. His areas of expertise include social development, economic and financial inclusion, data and policy analysis, rice fortification, supply chain processes and management, and DFS-G2P.

Before joining MSC, Abhishek pursued a Master of Science in International Development from the University of Bath, UK, through the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. Before this, he worked as a Research Assistant to Legislators at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies, New Delhi, where he provided legislative research assistance to the Members of Parliament. Abhishek also holds a second Master’s in History from the University of Delhi. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
