Policy Design and Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of current financial inclusion policies and regulations
- Design and propose policy improvements to foster inclusive financial practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to guide policy recommendations.
- Support policymakers, such as central banks and ministries, on financial inclusion strategies, reducing the digital divide, and promoting sustainable financial ecosystems
- Provide specialized public policy consulting with expertise in drafting policies, regulations, and guidelines
- Conduct research and advisory on Cash-In and Cash-Out (CICO) agents, enhancing their channel capabilities and improving network viability and sustainability for banks and other financial service providers (FSPs)
Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government and private sector clients
- Deliver strategic advisory services to address specific financial inclusion challenges.
- Present recommendations and insights to clients in a clear and persuasive manner
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and community organizations
- Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate diverse perspectives into solutions
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance awareness and understanding of financial inclusion principles
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Develop and implement frameworks for monitoring and evaluating financial inclusion initiatives
- Track and assess the impact of implemented policies and products
- Provide regular reports to clients and internal stakeholders
- Assist in organizing national-level events and workshops for MSC
- Contribute to the development of MSC’s toolkits and publications
Responsibilities
Business Execution
- Lead or assist in planning and executing medium- to large-scale technical assistance projects.
- Conduct assignment setup and debrief sessions for projects under their responsibility.
- Build rapport with client contacts to ensure successful project execution.
- Plan and execute assignments with due diligence and focus on quality
- Oversee and contribute to data analysis, information synthesis, and report writing processes
- Review delivered training courses, research papers, developed curriculum, and technical assistance provided to clients.
Business Development
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and potential clients
- Take initiatives to develop client connections
- Create and submit proposals to generate business within the domain
- Represent MSC at conferences and events
- Author or co-author thematic publications based on field experiences (e.g., Focus Notes, Briefing Notes)
- Actively participate in marketing activities and engage in digital media dialogs (blogs, discussion forums, etc.)
Requirements
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as:

- Social sciences
