Essential Skills:
The Manager needs to have a diverse skill set encompassing business analysis, consulting frameworks, management of agent networks and distribution channels, financial inclusion strategies, and proficient writing abilities. Additionally, expertise in agent network banking, Cash-In-Cash-Out (CICO) transactions, banking correspondent operations, business networking, financial inclusion initiatives, and product management is crucial. Moreover, adept risk management skills are essential for effective management in this role.

Detailed Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, and competition to support client projects, including those involving central banks and financial institutions. Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to evaluate business performance and identify growth prospects. Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data for insightful analysis, driving data-informed decision-making. Deliver compelling presentations, reports, and recommendations to clients and internal teams. Collaborate with diverse teams to define project goals, scope, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion. Lead and guide junior analysts to facilitate their professional growth. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and analytical tools to enhance our capabilities continuously and provide ongoing value to clients.

Business Development:
  • Cultivate connections with current and prospective clients.
  • Proactively foster client relationships.
  • Create and present proposals aimed at business growth, especially within the relevant Practice Group.
  • Serve as a representative of MSC at various conferences.
  • Contribute as an author or co-author to thematic publications derived from field experiences (such as Focus notes or Briefing notes).
  • Participate actively in marketing efforts and engage in digital media discussions, including blogs and forums.
Human Capital Development:
  • Perform evaluations on "Quality of Delivery" and provide feedback to team members following assignment completion, adhering to quality control protocols.
  • Aid in the advancement of fellow staff members by offering pertinent guidance and counsel.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing among staff, facilitating mentoring opportunities.
  • Demonstrate commitment to personal growth by acquiring skills and knowledge that contribute to the organization's value.
Business Execution:
  • Take charge of or aid in organizing and executing medium/large technical assistance projects.
  • Conduct initiation and wrap-up meetings for projects under one's responsibility.
  • Establish good relationships with different contacts within the client organization to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Strategize and carry out projects with careful attention to detail.
  • Supervise and aid in the report writing and data analysis process.
  • Assess delivered training courses, prepared research papers, developed curriculum, and provided technical assistance to clients.
  • Play a role in enhancing MSC's tool kits and other publications.
