Zeeshan Ali is a Senior Manager in MSC’s Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) Domain. He is an expert in financial inclusion and digital financial services with over 12 years of professional experience in India and Bangladesh. He has worked with microfinance institutions, NGOs, commercial banks, and small finance banks in India. His specializations include product design and roll-out, youth development, market research, healthcare financing, MSME lending, regulatory reporting, and institutional due diligence.

Zeeshan also specializes in project management, strategic business planning, partnership management, individual lending, business development, and digital financial services (DFS) design and rollout. Zeeshan has worked extensively on managing the transformation of an MFI into a small finance bank, Re-designing micro-banking business model for ESAF small finance bank automation of internal audit function for an NGO-MFI, business model assessment for a bank from a sustainability and regulatory compliance standpoint, developing detailed project report (DPR) for a payments bank, and digitization of products and processes for banks and MFIs. Before joining MSC, he was the National Product Manager in the Micro-banking division at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank. He undertook various roles and assignments, including setting up and managing the micro-banking operations, designing and rolling out digital lending solutions, and developing products, processes, and policies.   Zeeshan has also worked as a Subject Matter Specialist at PRADAN (a large NGO), where he has designed and implemented youth focused program with an objective to enhance livelihood aspiration, employability, and socio-economic profile of tribal youth in India.
