Shivank Mishra is a Manager with MSC. He is a rural development and management professional with close to seven years of experience in implementation, policy analysis, and research, acquired from projects with several state governments and pioneer agencies of the country.
His areas of expertise include rural livelihood, public policy analysis, financial inclusion, research, and capacity building in the respective fields. Initially, he worked with Rajasthan SRLM and as a Chief Minister Fellow in Madhya Pradesh, gaining experience in governance and implementation. An alumnus of the National Institute of Rural Development, Shivank is acquainted with the development sector’s dynamics related to the demand and supply of the schemes.
In his current role, he leads the data collection and field operations for The Diaries projects, handholding other project staff and coordinating with several stakeholders. He has experience planning and carrying out extensive quantitative and qualitative research, including studies representing the state and nation. Shivank specializes in forming data collection tools for making strategic decisions and designing programs. He is also engaged with other qualitative research projects in MSC, which are in a partnership with NITI Aayog. He contributes to designing and conducting market research using qualitative research methods. Further, he has worked in multiple types of research in MSME finance and development, individual entrepreneurs, community-based organizations, and women collectives, such as self-help groups.
