Senior ManagerScholastica is a Senior Manager at MSC’s Anglophone Africa domain in Nairobi, Kenya. She has 15+ years of experience as a gender specialist, trainer, and program manager skilled in integrating gender and social inclusion into program design, implementation, and evaluation.
Scholastica excels in strategy formulation, institutional strengthening, and performance management. Her recent work includes understanding user journeys for digital autonomy among women and girls in Kenya, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. She also explores barriers and drivers for accessing financial services among low-income households and MSMEs in Kenya, Ghana, and Togo, supported by the Mastercard Foundation. Scholastica’s expertise lies in unlocking credit access for women entrepreneurs and improving digital financial services for female traders in open-air and cross-border markets. Previously, she was a Gender Equality & Social Inclusion (GESI) Advisor at World Vision International. Scholastica holds a master’s degree in Gender Studies and Development from the University of Nairobi and is fluent in English, Kiswahili, and Kimeru.
