Ruth Odera is the Interim National Director at the Habitat for Humanity, Kenya. She has over 20 years of experience in private sector development, microfinance consulting, and training and project management.

Before joining Habitat for Humanity International, Odera managed Microfinance House Ltd., a privately owned microfinance consulting firm. She was a founder director of Daraja Microfinance Bank and a Board member of Africa Union for Housing Finance. She has also managed donor projects while working as a Program Coordinator in AFRACA. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi along with a Masters in Microfinance from Giordano Del Amore Foundation, Italy.
