Richard Meyer
Richard (Dick) L. Meyer is a Professor emeritus, OSU, and private consultant. He teaches and consults on the subjects of agricuture and microfinance in developing countries. He has worked as a professor at The Ohio State University for 25 years.
Richard (Dick) L. Meyer earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and graduate degrees from Cornell University. He joined Ohio State in 1970 and served as Director of International Programs and led AEDE's Rural Finance program. His professional career has been devoted to developm finance in low income countries, concerning the development of agricultural credit and microfinance. He continues to conduct research and write about these subjects. He also teaches these subjects in international short courses and in consultancies with major international donor agencies.
