Karan is an Analyst in MSC’s Banks and Agriculture Domain. He is an Agri value chain expert with experience gained through various development projects with multiple Government and Non-Government organizations. His areas of expertise include creation of value chain development programs for Community-based Institutions , promotion of natural-based farming, and agriculture entrepreneurs. He specializes in strategic program implementation, Agri value chains, planning, budgeting, financial management, stakeholder management, community mobilization and developing sustainable business models for Community-based Institutions.   Few examples of his recent work assignments include: JEEViKA Special Purpose Vehicle for Agricultural Transformation (JSPVAT): did a diagnostic study of FPOs formed in Bihar by JEEViKA. Post-study of the FPOs mapped the value chain of various agri-commodity like maize, red lentils, potato etc. and other business activity for these FPOs as per the comprehensive decision gate framework for marketing and sales of the agri-commodity. Consultant services for preparation of textual content for financial education: prepared textual content, managed and conducted training of trainers/master trainers, monitored and evaluated trainers. These trainers would train women of rural households and enable them to taking financial decisions. Developing a model to improve the income of farmers by leveraging the current derivative platforms in India. (2018) Before joining MSC, Karan was an SAP Business Intelligence Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services Pvt Limited where he was responsible for providing solutions to the business needs of clients. He holds a diploma with specialization in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand. He is fluent in English and Hindi.
