Iftekhar Hossain is a Founder Partner of Acnabin, Bangladesh.

Starting with Grameen Bank and BRAC in the early 90's, Iftekhar Hossain worked with many leading micro-finance institutions in Bangladesh in appraisal/ evaluation and improving their operating and control/reporting systems. These assignments were mostly donor financed and so have extensive experience working with international donors and consultants. He also worked with MFI’s in Bhutan and Nepal and with CASHPOR, a network of Grameen replicators in Asia, based in Malaysia. He has designed the MIS of a micro-credit project in China. Conducted capacity development workshop/training on external audit of MFI’s per CGAP in Uganda, Ethiopia and Afghanistan.
