Hugues Kamewe Tsafack is a Financial Sector Development Advisor at Making Finance Work for Africa (MFW4A).

Hugues Kamewe Tsafack is a financial sector development specialist with over 15 years of professional experience. He has worked in a multicultural environment in a number of African and European countries, including Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Tunisia, Belgium, and France. A Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) Executive Education Alumni and MasterCard Foundation Fellow, he was awarded a certificate of completion for the Rethinking Financial Inclusion Leadership Program in April 2016. His experience spans across a wide number of financial sector development related topics (with a strong focus on financial inclusion policies and banking regulation and supervision reforms), economic development and private sector development. Prior to joining the Making Finance Work for Africa (MFW4A) Secretariat, a multi-donor initiative hosted by the African Development Bank, he worked for the World Savings Banks Institute (WSBI) in Belgium. He has provided valuable research and technical contributions to activities of several international organizations (e.g. African Development Bank, UPU, UNCDF, CGAP).
