Aleke Dondo served as the Managing Director of the K-Rep Development Agency, a non-profit microfinance institution that services the needs of small-scale farmers and micro-entrepreneurs through innovative microfinance projects. He has over 21 years of in depth experience with the start-up and management of rural microfinance organizations and a background in small (informal) enterprise development. Aleke has previously served on the boards of various organizations involved in development work including the Kenya Gatsby Trust and the Kenya Community Development Foundation, among others. He holds a Masters in Economics from the York University, Canada.
