Abhijit Sharma is the Director of the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

Abhijit Sharma is the Director of the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. Before joining IIE, he was an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Bank Management, Guwahati. He also worked as a Lecturer at the Guwahati University. Abhijit has vast experience as a trainer in the fields of microfinance, group mode of financing, financial inclusion, and rural livelihoods. He is associated with several studies and consultancies on microfinance and livelihood in collaboration with MSC, CESS and Livelihood School, Tufts University, etc.
