Aarjan is a Senior Manager at MSC’s Agriculture domain in India. He works in climate change and sustainability with over 13 years of experience gained through projects with international NGOs, think tanks, and community-based institutions across the Asia Pacific, specifically in Cambodia, India, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, and the United States.  His areas of expertise include program design and evaluation, M&E, climate change adaptation, climate resilient agriculture, and disaster risk reduction.

Before joining MSC, Aarjan was a climate change advisor and program officer for CARE Nederland in the Philippines, where he undertook various roles, from providing oversight and monitoring of humanitarian and resilience building projects in the Philippines, providing technical support to CARE country offices on climate change adaptation and resilience, and providing technical assistance for program development. He holds a master’s degree with a specialization in environmental management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, New Haven, USA in 2008.  He is fluent in English, Nepali, and Hindi.
