Mitul is a Senior Partner and heads Government and Social Impact practice at Microsave Consulting (MSC). He works with governments, philanthropies, multilateral institutions, and private institutions to design, optimize, and implement public policies and programs across Asia and Africa. Most of his work is at the intersection of policy, technology, and society. His work areas include digital governance, digital public infrastructure, public finance, state capacity, innovation, south-south cooperation, livelihoods, nutrition, health, social protection, agriculture, climate change, and energy.
He has been a management consultant throughout his career and has advised governments and corporates on strategy, operation, innovation, technology, and transformation. He has worked and managed teams across India, the Middle East, the Philippines, the United States, Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. Before joining MSC, Mitul headed the Management Consulting Services practice at Infosys Consulting, focused on smart cities, telecom, energy, and utility sectors in India. He led a variety of projects in the field of policy definition, innovation, market entry strategy, deal advisory, partnership strategy, process optimization, smart city strategy and planning, smart grid strategy, performance metrics definition, digital solution design, business case definition, IT strategy, IT due diligence, capability assessment, change management, and program management. He also conceptualized and led large-scale, technology-enabled business transformation programs for the government and private sector.
